Rally 09 fundraiser
Raising funds for the LDN research trust
Well that’s it for this year, the rally is over and thanks to you we have raised £1228.14 for the charity LDN Research Trust.
This website is just to give you a taste of the 2009 rally, a bit more information about the LDN Research Trust and why I chose this charity.
The rally was great fun, there were seven teams so about 20 people. We had a great laugh and it really felt a good group of compadres.
If I do it next year, I would buy all the vinyets for the motorways and before setting off each day have a planning session. Otherwise it wastes time with the challenges and getting to the destination.
The organisers, Pete and Paul, are two fantastic guys. Very approachable and open to new ideas. They truly love what they are doing and it shows with their dedication and planning.
I don’t do package holidays and this is a change from the norm; you are with a group of people with a common interest and goal.
Would I do it again? Yes. Can I recommend it? Yes. And a big thank you to everyone who sponsored this event and helped raise funds for the charity.
